Take Me Away

By DeeNekura

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

As I lay on the floor, my blood running clear I reach out my hand, and suddenly you appear Your untouched face, your unloving eyes That gentle smile that I so much despise You deepen my wound, my blood soaks the floor All you did was caress my flesh, yet it tore Rotting inside, with illusions of hate Killing my dreams till everything's much too late Love like a blade, cutting me deep Stealing my soul, all the benefits you reap Lies your dagger, stabbed into my eyes Your room filling up with my screams and my criesErrr...I just wrote this spur of the moment at like, 4am. No, it has no significant meaning or anything, it's just a poem. Written November 14th, 2001 © on Nov 17 2001 08:58 AM PST   10 • 0
