I found a little robin I called him little tweet And when i took him to the park He played down at my feet He was such a friendly little bird He'd hop around all day But if i tried to pick him up He'd up and fly away One day a big black tom cat Came walking in the park He killed my little robin And made my life so dark Now when i go out walking And hear a little tweet I think about my robin Running around my feet.
