Pickering What is a wife, I but think Only projects on the brink And are kept out of the stink Of garbage is what I think Your description may differ Except the word can infer What we're taught as a young bur Those teachings may be demur A wife to me is just but We want to keep from the rut Want to keep the door un-shut Attend feelings in our gut Which will often tell us right Circumstances of our plight That we want all colored white Which can keep us out of fright Wives are what we hold dearly!!!
