Route Insanity

By Desdemona

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

If I leave, I'm not hereI went somewhere out thereOut there beyond the starsA place higher then the highest reefer highLighter then the lightest featherstronger then a tree in the middle of the woodsTip me over, will you hear me fall if your not there?I am silent to youSilent to your worldPeaceful dreams haunt me of the real worldSleep heavysleep plentyDrift away to the bottom of realityA place cold like the earth we liveIn a mist DecemberAnd I will breath you somedayI will smell your insidesYou WILL know the crazyness I seek in youRevenge beneath my fingernailsLieing in your confusionYour lies of afterlifeAnd then again be surrounded by your serenityGuitars and Gin will then control meYour passion unfolds meRun to the next sceneCapture a moment of us in a songA glimpse of my face in the smogRefuse of me in a dirty trashcanRun with my bad selfI'm tired of running on happinessI'm sick of getting by on just togethernessI'm tired of living so hornyI'm sick of these weirdo's that surround meI think i am going to drive tonight, right now.... A place I know so wellROUTE INSANITY!! Written July 29th, 2001 © on Nov 02 2001 12:33 PM PST, Lee Gillilan   18 • 0 • 10
