tee vee preacher spins lies to his fold sleazy simoniac screaming about ssssssssssssssin pounds his Book autotheistic avatar demanding tithes to his personal God hollow promises of prayers for remission of illness, dementia and sin follow him to Zion, children this presbyter in polyester his faithful flock pure in desire to touch the face of God pour fruits of life's work into his gullet again the moneychangers have taken over the temple where is the Messiah now?Um...wow, a lot of comment on this one. First of all I want to make it clear that this is NOT an attack on Christianity or on anyone's faith. That is one reason that I have included biblical references...the other is that they felt right. This IS, however, an attack on the sleazy bastards who use the human desire for spiritual connection to make themselves rich on empty promises and outright lies. Now...I also want to provide definitions for some of the more unusual words I've used here. Simoniac: A person who takes money to "intercede with God" on the "customer"'s behalf. A practice often said to have ended centuries ago. Turn on your TV and see what YOU think. Presbyter...essentially a synonym for priest or minister. I just thought it sounded good. um I think that's it for the obscure words...if I missed any just ask in the comments and I'll provide definitions. Thanks.
