Noise

Noise Big noise, Banging on the ear drum, Beating out its tom-tom message Crashing and jarring on some inner nerve. Little noise, Tapping softly Whispering in the ear like a wisp of wind. Crying noise, Bleating in the distance Catching the ear of an anxious mother. Laughing noise, Dancing round the head Skipping a merry message to a happy soul. Angry noise, burly noise. Little noise Crashing noise, Banging noise.         Shouting, laughing         Weeping –         All is noise. Written December 14th, 2001 © on Dec 13 2001 08:15 PM PST   0 • 10
