Question of Rights
By Dragonlady
It’s a question of rights That they ignore It’s something we can’t let go on anymore We have voices That no one will hear They just dismiss They say that we’re queer It doesn’t matter where We could be anyplace They just judge us By the look on our face Or the way we dress Or wear our hair What’s inside doesn’t matter They don’t really care They’re to busy looking out for Uncle Sam When it comes to us They don’t give a damn They say we’re all delinquents Rebels without a cause They never notice anything good They only see the flaws They don’t have to hide it Because we know the truth They’re just trying to steal away our youth Are they going to keep after us until we die And if they are Will you please tell me why Why are we juveniles In their sights I thinks it’s A question of our rightsThis is sooooo old. I just came across it, and it made me laugh. Brings back a lot of memories. Figured I would share it. Written February 14th, 2002 © on Feb 14 2002 08:46 AM PST 0 • 1
