Seeds Of Hate
By Dream
I saw it happen in my dreams a thousand times beforeAnd then this morning there's a tapping on my doorFather cries to me and says something is very wrongAnd then I watched as the congressman sang their songA song that said that we will fightInto the darkest hours of the nightA cry that freedom will never dieAs long as there's a twinkle in every childs eyeWe will mourn the death of the lossPrepare for HalocaustBut never will we fallIf together we stand tallI feel it in the windThe souls of the dead coming alive againRunning through our heartsEven though we feel we've been torn apartAnd so my soul cries out in vainWhy did they use our own airplanesThey used our mothers fathers and wivesAs a flying bomb to kill others livesWhat kind of demon would do these deedsAnd so we have reaped only hateful seedsAgain we stand shoulder to shoulderAnd it pains me to know when our children get olderThis will be what altered their fateA senseless act of cowardly hateAnd so we pray not only for the victimsBut for justice to the ones that killed themSo stand with me we must uniteAnd go on fighting through the nightI saw these pictures in my dreamAnd now they are on the TV screenSo what more are we willing to loseUntil we get the chance to chooseFight and live another dayOr watch it all be taken awayWhat can we doHow do we choose...........The Lonely PoetWe've got to fight this this faceless enemy we've got to find it's weakness and destroy it before the hate destroys US!~Dream Written September 13th, 2001 © on Sep 13 2001 07:11 AM PST 0 • 9
