Walk on
By ecologist
Feel the silence embrace you... in the darkness - waiting for your touch 2:00 am walks along vaulted streets -- cicadas drilling into my sanity finding you, wrapped in me nightmare insanity conformity caught... in the blackness of ... an empty soul, wishing for freedom -- to rip it apart fill it with riotous longing, desire touched -- by the painting of wheels, roads, color filtering through passion lying bereft ... upon the dead night -- nothing remains silence and taxicabs at 3:00 am watching the hookers go home, with the johns the police caught watching I am insane, driven into the arms of delerium by wanton desire ... for an unattainable woman, unseen ...does she exist, beyond my mind -- I wander through dingy night, touching nothing...hearing all night sounds become my reality a feather on a tepid black pond drifting in and out waiting for something to catch me, hold me in this darkened night of my soul nothing does so I walk on...
