Empassioned

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The intrigue that inspires us both Burns deep inside our souls Reasoning deserting us Images of passion overwhelming Mistress, Mother, Wife and lover Picture and thoughts transpire Rational thinking disqualified Eroticism abounds Thoughts and dreams Revolve around you Whilst awake and when asleep You’ve entered my soul And my brain Awakening long dead desire The burning desire you feel Is present inside of me Can reality match fantasy? Only one way can it be found Would it end in disappointment? Or heaven’s high reached? The game’s afoot We’ll play it though Maybe someday We will find Truth or consequences Can be fun But also contrived I’ll leave the rest up to you No easy choice to make In your heart of hearts You know friendship will survive So it’s over to you Make up your mind Whatever you choose I will be kind Copyright © Andy..Harding Written January 4th, 2002 © on Jan 04 2002 04:37 AM PST, Andy Harding   0 • 8 • 10
