Whisper a Roar
By Emmerson
The tap drips slowly into the sink, Where your thoughts once lied. Washed down into non existence, From all the tears you've cried. Silence is now your enemy, Your fighting to stay alive. Words once made you breathe, Now they make you cry. Speak now child of the night, Let freedom grip your thoughts. Clog the hole of non existence, Breathe life back through your thoughts. Words are powerful weapons, Use them as you might. Fight your darkest evil, Or shadow your soul with light. Today is the day of never ending, Yesterday you conformed in fright. Whisper a roar to be held in tomorrow, Let go of those thoughts you've held so tight.Writers block with a difference :) Written March 10th, 2002 © on Mar 10 2002 10:03 AM PST 18 • 0 • 10
