She Left Me

There was no exit to find what continuously rambled in her mind. Looking back into the distance, there is a small child at the end of the flight. Racing against time, she tries to reach the thyme of pale colored scent, leaving a trail which was meant to be a lost in the child's sanity. Reaching the end, she can see nothing. The child is gone and the embrace is nowhere to be found. She sits quietly on the silver ground to weep for a mourning that never left.
