Feelings That Last

The scent of flowers and roses so sweet, Sweep your woman off her feet, The heat within a flame burns so bright, So bright you glow and everyone can see, The love within, Your love for me. I look left and right, and all I see, Is the time with you, and you with me, Love is so blinding at times you cannot see, The love for you, the love thats within me. I would run for miles and clime up trees, Jump over canyons and fly with ease, My love is so bright cant you see, I want to be with you, Cause you are the best to me. People and distance can try to keep us apart, But when you fall for someone with all your heart, Nothing can stop us or stand in our way, We will be together, somehow, someway. Life is so cruel to people like you and me, The strange thing is all we want to be, With someone special thats in our hearts, Someone to be there and stand by your side, To hold you when hurt, sad, or wanting to cry, Be there to hold your hand and dry the tears from your eyes, Close and touching never wanting to let go, And this is how it will be if you want it so.
