Walls of The Dead
By EvokedShade
I took a nose dive than jumped back, Shook my hand at the fact, Life was nothing less than real, Fear itself within a seal. Risking death to feel alive, Knowing that I must survive, Placing my head in my hands, Feeling relaxed and then again. That feeling that seeps from a wall, Cold air begins to fall, Left within an empy hall, Feeling the ceiling begin to fall. Breathing and shaking its all the same, Making you feel that you're going insane, Your heart begins to beat, Like no other you feel it in your feet. Everything around you begins to disapear, Life around you is nowhere near, The halls of death you feel in your bones, Feeling the needs stabing your toes. Lifeless and limp, Laying on the floor, Makes you wonder, Why you ever walked in the door. The place is empty and so dark, Now you left your mark, Shifting and moving you try to get free, But these shackles kling, grabbing. Stuck in a room all alone, I never thought this would end up being my home. Stuck within these walls of the dead, It stings to move your head, The only thing that makes you live, Is the fact that you must give, Give it all you got to make it through, I must get through so I can be with you.My friend from Michigan read this to her entire school.
