Marriage

By Fading Soldier

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

two people sharing, growing, developing, learning good qualities kept, nurtured fresh as the morning sun, unfading admiration slow to anger, full of compassion. one is the extension of the other no 'me first' attitude, no greed idea of self-fulfillment, a downfall emphasis is on 'us', together. like a granite rock, a solid foundation faith, a covenant without doubt or reservation trust, a bond earned with time understanding, accepting misgivings, patience. sincerety with old-fashioned concerned no skin deep emotion, fake tears pure intentions from the deepest core of the heart expression of desire, displayed in great passion. marriage is a lifetime possession it can not be take for granted, even for a moment it is a sacred union of a man and a woman guarded with dignity, rich with mutual respect. God Bless you both! ~~***~~ Written October 18th, 2001 © on Oct 18 2001 03:52 AM PST   0 • 10
