Do I love him?

By fire Rise

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Controled by my desire, Do I love him? Can I really make him see my soul? He is oh so perfect. His skill, his charm, his heart on his sleeve. Do I love him? I don't know his name. Andy, John, Dave....all so common He deserves a name like no other could posses. A name that could Glorify all the kings and Gods from above. For he is radiant in his stride...only a precious name could justify. Do I love him? Even though he may appear stranger, I can read him like a map. I know every curve of his neck. Every laugh line in his smile. Every river of laughter that flows from his stomach and spills out creating pools! Do I love him? He is intoxicating in his words and thoughts. Lingering on every last vowel. Hanging on every last word. Concentrateing on the form of his lips. The way they take shape with every sylible, and as if they were caressing each word to make it out into the world on its own. Do I love him? Or is love to juvinile for an emotion like this one? Love seems to verbal for my jubilee when I see him. Seems to miniscule for how my heart skips a double beat when he walks in a room. Perhaps Love isn't meant to be expressed by the word "love" at all? All I can ask is Do I love him? Written March 13th, 2002 © on Mar 12 2002 04:42 PM PST   18 • 0 • 8
