lovely girl dancing down eerily calm avenue happily reminicing the fascinating days events astride her weather-worn horse a fear of nothing breezes through her soul as she swiftly passes a stranger, worn as badly as her noble horse noticing not the rapier he witheld so quietly waiting for a beauty just this grand to pass him by she fades wooingly into the crescent moon this foot dirty man creeps behind stopping only to straddle his fresh young horse as ebony as the forest hidden from the barely there moon the prince's daughter remains unaware while her ride is yet undisturbed her gliding mare softly evades any stones, any protrusions from the earth the path was a trove of demons, unseen in the darkest night her eyes a peircing grey...cooler than the thundrous wind they search surroundings for any intruder to her peace... ...stopping on the stranger from long ago his rapier now gleaming under the fading moon, a twine string flowing to his side fear striking her soul so suddenly, frozen as her horse in headlights the dark soul of the barefoot demon shone stronger than his eyes being a deep green, so soothing and relaxed she tried to persuade her horse to turn around: "Delphi! Around!" yet she as well became entranced with the glow...the rapiers song as she jumped off her beloved, her gown became entangled...trapped the stranger advanced slower than prior thought possible girls heart racing faster each tormenting second grey eyes darting for an escape...any way to survive silent stranger reaches her horse....her gown...slices her free his rapier so sharp it seems to melt the fabric under the waning moon he ties her arms above her head as she desperately struggles against time, her eyes afixed upon his dead, cold stare her arms twisting vainly, trying to find freedom within these ropes of death the increasingly calm man agown in royal robes changes his pace throwing her shaking body onto his horse's body, he gathers his supplies her horse stands bewildered until deciding to run into the birthing dawn the night stranger rides quickly off into darkness, opposite the rising sun the girl's thoughts blur together, meld into one vision...fading into unconsciousness awakens she does in a new place, the warm mid-day sun tanning her nude body noticing the constant trickle flowing from her face, arms, stomach and pelvis hands now knotted to the wooden beam behind her wrists bleeding where the rope digs into her soft flesh now beginning to think of the man from the prior night, cold man in heavenly robes he returns again, his rapier replaced with a sword...his rope, a molding sack this daughter of the prince dies here, alone in the glowing sun the man of stangest evil calmly ends her suffering buries her under the coldness of a new night his rapier now replaced with a steel shovel, the scraping echoing into the darkness while the midnight moon watches in deadly silence, crying raindrop tears for this beautiful angel lost to a nighttime stangerjust thought id post this as the first of my few story-like poems...i had forgotten that i wrote this..
