For Every Raindrop
By Fred
As humans we can never seem to comprehend, Why times arise when we must endure some rain, Instead, in confusion we always contend, And we cry when we must take a little pain. I pose a question, I hope you will respond, Don't you enjoy the good things in your life? Why focus only on the things that go wrong? Why not just reach out and give your hand to Christ? See, for every raindrop, a flower surely grows And how beautiful those flowers surely are? But I'm sure that everyone definitely knows That without any rain, this growth would be hard. See it's in dirt and rain that Christ's flowers grow Not on a sunny beach of utter delight. Instead you'd find them down in the valley low Making that valley beautiful and bright! Now if you really want to be a flower Just use your roots and suck that rain right up And then, when facing your darkest hour Your stem will be sturdy, resilient, and tough.
