The Hurtful Love
She sits in silence broken and distraught. Wondering how this could have ever come to be. That the one who had just left her battered and bruised. Was the one who was supposed to love her for all eternity. She brushed the side of her swollen face. And her heart broke right there on the spot. Because at that very second she realized. That the one she loved so deeply In return seemed to love her not. The first time he committed this awful crime of hurtful passion. He swore he lost control and would never do it again. So she forgave him and continued on. With a lover filled with hate envy and sin. She gave up everything for him. Her family,life,and career. But all he gave her in return. Was an exsistence of lonliness and fear. So she struggles to her knees. and prays to God to once again help her find her way. And to one day smile and laugh again.
