Heart to Heart
By GhostWriter
When we first met, Cupid's arrows were flying, Each penetrating the inner depths of my heart. Removing them would certainly mean my death, At least then, there would be no more crying. Let them continue to flow as in the start. Believe in our love with your every breath, To deny it’s still there, you would be lying. Discard that shield that blocks your heart; The arrows have penetrated there before. They will again if you just open up; These words are pouring from my heart. A heart that could love no one more; One that won’t allow me to give up. One that loves you even when apart. A heart broken, but not destroyed; One always devoted to you. A heart that has endured all the pain; One whose love you once enjoyed. A heart once loved by your heart too; One that will die, if it was all in vain. A heart broken, but not destroyed.
