She has chosen to stay home; If you really love her, leave her alone. You are torn and in such pain; Your hanging on has nothing to gain. Be grateful for what you once had; Don’t condemn all, endlessly sad. Use your love for the families you’ve built; Do this and there is no need for guilt. Before he can put his love to the test; He has to know, she’s put it to rest. Before she can put her love to the test; She has to know, he’s put it to rest. Let it go, set him free; Let it go, set her free; Let it go, set your love free.This was written to a man and woman who were temporarily brought together while each was experiencing a mid-life crisis. Each had a loving spouse and beautiful families. As in many marriages, some of the thrill had diminished and coupled with self doubts drove them to untested waters. This was my plea to them to seek the truth within their hearts and do what was best for all. Both returned to their spouses and families and to my knowledge have put this behind them and now applying the "affair" energy back into their respective families. I am not a proponent of staying in a marriage just for the sake of the children, but in fairness to all, I do believe every effort should be made before giving up and causing so much pain for the innocent.
