I sit by the phone daily Waiting for you to call I never would have imagined Love would catch me and make me fall You were never who I thought I would want in my world Now I can’t stop thinking About being your girl That night that we were together Totally took me by surprise Now every night I try to sleep I picture your face in my eyes Baby how come you don’t call me Now I feel so sad Just in the short time You were the best thing I had I guess it’s all my fault I deserve all this pain you give me But what I want you to understand Is without you I feel empty So honey I’ll sit and wait Till the day you come back my way I’m dying here without you So please don’t take all day.
