This Much

2000 years ago a Man walked a wasteland And left me in the dust. This is the Man I follow. This is the Man I love. The crazy Jewish radical Who'd be upset right now. They took a sword to Your name And Your name to a sword. It wasn't meant to be this way. No. Stop. It's not too late. To let go of this anger inside my mind. For rich white men misuse Your name For their rich white means To obtain rich white ends To the point where You became white. And the world laughed (and they still do). I fall before You While others stand. Seeking to live a life Where hate ends And love begins. And while the white shadow Falls upon us all My tears see past it And ask how much You love us all And You stretched out Your arms to die and said: "This much."
