A burning
By Grannyrosie
A BURNING Swirling waters of the mind, Whirlpools of desire, Drawing deep within, to caverns, Where dost burn eternal fire. Eruptions yet, of lava, Create a shimmering steam, Heat lives on, inside the soul, Love, lust, want, need, dost scream. Banshees wail, and chorus, Tiny elves, with pitchforks black, Laugh with glee, ridicule she, Please God, sanity turn back. Wave on wave of prime desire, Rekindles then, extinguished fire, Evil demons, there within, Look on, chuckle, Ah!, Sweet sin! Walk upon the coals dear one, What matter if thy feet burn? Body and soul in hell now, Sway, twist, turn. Retreat? Ah no!, now too far down, Never will reprieve be, The call of flesh, such pleasure, Triumphant yet, with thee.
