Want to feel once more that special warmth, Emanating from your closeness there. Whisper words of comfort in your ear, Hear your dear sweet voice, loud and clear. Such an integral part of my every day, This long distance love I have for you. Ache to feel the closeness of your embrace. Depth of this feeling, sincere, and true. Sometimes, I go so long without a word, Feel forgotten, rejected, left in the cold. Then you appear, in another far off shore, Intrepid traveller, my Knight so bold. Would I could be there beside you. Yet, reality says this is not to be. Tho in your heart, I hold a part, Your mind and body must be free. Dear one, hear my voice calling, Across the miles of land and sea. Respond, my heart is aching for you. I await my love, eternally.
