How close

HOW CLOSE How close can two souls be, Entwined so perfectly in rapture’s call. Ultimate surrender to the power of passion, Giving unconditionally to the other, all? Where does the line of division hide, Demarcation point of you, and me? Surely it has disappeared, does not exist, Now permitting total dedication to run free. Anticipation of joint needs, unspoken desire, Enthrones this union as an act sublime. Need of independence now fragmented, I am yours, without question, as you are, mine. Bravely, boldly, we shall face the world together, United in everything we think, say, do. Respectful yet of uniqueness, individuality, Fulfilment overwhelms this love, so true. No ponderings of the future pathway, Hand in hand, soul in soul are we. Climbing this mountain of life together, Perfect love, all encompassing, as it should be.
