Lonely ghost
By Grannyrosie
LONELY GHOST Lonely ghost, unfettered, Walking hallways of the mind. Seeking to turn life’s pages, Rest and peace she needs to find. Barraged by unending information, Opening secret doors and files, Viewing reruns of old memories, Provoking tears, laughter, and smiles. Probing memories murky waters, Whirling vortex, bottomless abyss, Too close, sometimes for comfort, Yet, no revelation will she miss. Lingering over joys forgotten. Savouring precious images of the past. Recoiling from moments of horror. Determined to examine, first to last. Each chapter perused in entirety. Blushing, sighing, with passions lot. Revealing treasure, gifts so boundless, Recounting blessings so long forgot. Reconciling, adjusting the ledger, More positives than negatives exist. Lonely ghost, smiling in triumph, Loneliness banished, forever dismissed. Written December 25th, 2001 © on Dec 25 2001 02:44 PM PST, Patricia Rosenberg 0 • 10
