By Grannyrosie
Challenge Description: Write me a poem about your favorite fruit. I want to see a lot of visual imagery in this & delicious descriptions (teehee) have fun! (15 points) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Have you ever eaten a mango, Taken directly from the tree? Have you ever been to heaven? They are the same, actually. A warm and glowing outer place, T'will bring a smile, to every face, Radiance beyond compare, One knows the joys, lurking there. The smallest taste will show you, There is nothing bad to fear, A sweet celestial melody, Will tantalize your ear. Taste buds will crave for more and more, As you, this heaven do explore, Then you find the center core, That place from whence comes life. Move in close, search underneath, Grasp between, tongue and teeth, Take everything he has for you, He doesn't mind, at all. When curiosity is done, Go, find yet another one, See! We are all so predictive, Mangos, like heaven, are addictive Written February 18th, 2002 © on Feb 18 2002 10:26 AM PST, Patricia Rosenberg 10 • 0 • 8
