Morning Glory
By Grannyrosie
** Surrounding tin fence in elegance. Tendrils reaching into thin air. Love heart leaves, Olive green Caress Peep out from joints here And there. Fine veined curled trumpets Quiver in dawn’s first light, Un-wreathed power dwelling within Bright blue electric petronels Shivers in delight, Acknowledging yet another day As Sol sends forth his might, As t’were some signal to the earth. Butterflies take to Gossamer wing With echoes of trumpet, They who Jealously sing nodding Heads as in tune With life Revitalised All around. Blue of sky and flower Combine, Breeze sighs Such inspirationally Optimistic Sound. ** Written March 19th, 2002 © on Mar 19 2002 12:30 AM PST, Patricia Rosenberg 0 • 10
