Riding free
By Grannyrosie
RIDING FREE Throbbing, pulsing muffler echoes, Hallowed music to this eager ear, Throttle laid back, wildly humming, Riding the wind, without a fear. Exhilaration catches this breath, Tendrils of hair, wave and snake. Faster, roaring down the highway, Every inhibition, restriction break. Rushing wind invading clothing, Billowing now, blowing free. No greater buzz, adventure, tonic, Cycling with grunt and guts can be. Heading into the hills up yonder, Dipping, diving, sailing into curves. Bitumen rearing up to meet us, Feel the thrill of naked nerves. Lift the visor, feel breath explode, Force of wind waters eyes. Bask in the glory of the wonder, Defy gravitation with grateful sighs. Weaving now, through tight corners, Feeling the power we side astride. Nothing can compare, never, ever, With this fantastic mountain ride. Draw in, beside a crystal lake, Soak, in reverence, the beauty there. Mount up, hit that beckoning road again, Make miles, relax, enjoy, without a care.
