Twilight
By Grannyrosie
TWILIGHT Is it imaginings, or are the stars closer tonight, The soft magical glow, displays a new light, Perhaps, as we age, they slowly close in, Beckoning, enticing, the spirit within. They whisper of unfinished business to tend, Of strained relationships, needing to mend. They say,'count your blessings, account for your life, Forget all the hurt, dismay, pain and strife. The time will come soon, from this life you will part, So refresh all the memories, deep down in your heart, Remember only precious things, so worthwhile. For your days that are left, wear only a smile. Pass the joy that you have, to all whom you touch, Radiate peace and tranquility, you have so much, Here in lifes twilight, with laughter and cheer, Have nothing to dread, nothing to fear Written December 25th, 2001 © on Dec 24 2001 09:34 PM PST, Patricia Rosenberg 0 • 10
