WHEN I NEED YOU Whenever I need you, you are there, Right beside me, all the way. Demonstrating how much you care, Within every loving word you say. Holding me tight, suppressing fear, Your heart so closely bound to mine, Sweet reassurance, so very dear, Echoing through all space and time. Emotional bonds, gently growing, As when a rose bud starts to bloom. Mutual desire flaring, both knowing, Walk softly, into each hearts room. Feeding the spark that glows within, With every touch, contact we make. Building a fire we know will last, Certain this love is no mistake. Laughter and joy, so much a part, Life is too short to nurture pain. Ridding horizons of dark cumulus, Ready to join as one, again. A vow, a covenant, made together, Never to hurt, inflict tears of sorrow. Ready together to face any weather, Emerging cohesive, for every tomorrow. Dedicating this whole, henceforth to you.
