Cracked Glass

By GratefulGurl

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Walking down the street I walk down past your house, anyway. All the birds are singing hello to you, And all the dogs are barking, but they dont have a clue. You've come home,to yesterday again, You want it like before you left, You want to have a friend. The world has changed you through the days, I never really liked you much, anyway. One sunny rainy day, I look right past your crude face, anyway. You run to catch up, You slip and fall. I'm no longer here to catch you, Maybe you'll realize that too.
