I wait

By grumpy3445

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I am not worried I am a man who lives in the desert yearning for the rains to bring the flowers or a man in a frozen wasteland wishing for the kiss of spring or a man in the humid tropics longing for the dry, cool air of the mountains or a man who lives in poverty lusting for wealth or a man who is starving craving for a bite of bread or a man who works, long, hard hours aching for sleep and so, I will waitMy first poem. I wrote this spontaneously, for a beautiful lady I know. Written December 10th, 2001 © on Feb 23 2002 02:48 PM PST   18 • 0 • 8
