Come back to me My Love

By IfOnlyLifeWereFair

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Please don't go my love. I did not mean to hurt you so bad. Our love was strong but faded away like a flame in the breeze. Where did those feelings go? Oh how much I would give to hold you again to kiss you softly and feel your touch. Please don't go away. I love you and don't want to lose you. I had your heart and played with it like a toy. I didn't know how much you meant until you were gone. Now my heart burns like a great white fire inside me. I feel pain and emptiness. The tears flow down my face as I think of what I have done. How could I have loved any other but you? Why did I let you go? You loved me and I just ignored you and messed around with others. I was killing you wasn't I? Why didn't you tell me how you felt? I thought you were like the other guys who just used me. You loved me and I just didn't care. Please don't away.Ok this kind of sux so maybe a few pointers can be given if you want to read better poetry. Please tell me how you feel about the two poems that I ahve posted up here.
