What Blooms...
By IndyDom316
Its silence is overwhelming... the night enveloped by darkness the mammals sleep the insects prey upon their peers SUDDENSUDDENSUDDENLY the horizon melts into yellow the clouds, hiding in the night, are revealed the aztec rises from its shroud the sun, the colors, the feeling ~s~t~u~n~n~i~n~g~ the warmth hits my face ...ssshhhiiivvveeerrrsss... the heat radiates, melts the cold from my skin small hurricanes on my flesh I close my eye...the black becomes red, then orange... I smile, my cheeks wrinkle as the sunrise fills me with glee I open my eyes to the light and am stunned it fills my head, lighting every dark corner memories f l o o d to the surface ...chipped teeth...knee scrapes....bicycles... ....action figures....brothers and sisters... ..... ......parents.... I spread my arms to the warmth above and the light capcapcaptures me it fills me, surrounds me, pulls me towards the aztec the light is infinite...and I smile.... I did not realize... that dying would be like this....and just when you thought you knew what was going to happn next....BAM! Written April 10th, 2002 © on Apr 10 2002 01:57 PM PST 0 • 10
