Sea's Lament
By JadeG28
The sea is in turmoil. It rages from the depths of it's black water. The moon is glorious tonight. From so far away it controls the tide.A unique pairing these two make. The moon reflects in the black sea illuminating it.The sea reaches to touch the moon but can't reach, it's arms falling to the shore. The moon stretches out it's beams to the sea, stroking the waves. The sea calms at the touch of the beams. The sea beats the shore in desperation. It's can't reach out to the moon, it has no beams. The sea sings to the moon until it sinks to sleep.
