I want to be someone’s Knight in Shining Armor I want to be the one she wishes for The one she brags about to her friends I long to hold someone in my arms For her to tell me that I make her feel safe and warm And that I’m the one SHE longs for TOO. I want to be someone’s Knight in Shining Armor I want to provide her with a Castle and call her Queen To bring her a dragon’s head To save her from the “Bad Guy” I want her to call MY name when she needs help For ME to be the first one she thinks about when she Daydreams I want to be someone’s Knight in Shining Armor To come riding out of the fog during her darkest hour and save the day To shield her from the world’s ills and transport her safely to paradise I want to be the Knight that she longs for The one the little girl in her still believes will appear someday I wait patiently for her to discover me To look deep inside this/my ordinary exterior and see that I am HER Knight in Shining Armorsomething i found in one of my old journals...still applies i think Written February 7th, 2002 © on Feb 06 2002 05:00 PM PST 10 • 0
