Let Time Pass
By JB rho
Love’s sweet odor wafts softly across their path White doves circle above songs linger slowly down Crystal blue waters glisten calmly Stone thrown by children at play produce only ripples Oblivious to beauty which surrounds them Continual gaze acts as blinders Interested only in lover’s eyes all else fade into background Locked in each others’ soul trapped by colliding hearts Neither wills accept less than full attention Sun touches glassy horizon leaves most in awe Lovers hold each other no thought of release Comfort encompasses both content to sit To remain in the other’s embrace To let time slowly pass them by.
