Mothers, Why
By jcwatson1979
You hear of stories in the news You read stories in magazines and newspapers Of mothers hurting or killing their children Mothers, Why? Children are gifts from God They endear themselves with just one smile When they wrap their tiny hand Around anyone's finger That person's heart can't help but melt Children are sent for us to love and protect Mothers, Why? Each child is unique Each meant to be something special Something important Their life is precious No one has the right to take their life Especially not their mother A mother's purpose is to nurture and help grow Not destroy Mothers, Why? After all the pain you go through To bring a child into this world I don't see how you could hurt and destroy Something so precious Mothers, Why?
