Dying of the Dawn

By Jdr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

So, what can I tell you Red clouds have come and gone away Like many mornings before this I have nothing to say The new day brings no answers to the questions in my mind Just like the breeze this moment They will be answered, in their own time And sunshine brings acceptance that life still lingers on I stand here in silence Watching the dying of the dawn Written March 21st, 2002 © on Mar 21 2002 07:38 AM PST   0 • 13
