Temptations (Challenge Poem)
By Jet
As the embers and ashes spiral Ever upwards on the wings of a sigh. They leave the flames to watch from far below. Wanting only to be so free as they. In his rage the inferno burns bright. White hot anger sparks into the offending sky. But the crackling protests of an earth bound flame Will slowly, surely die away.Answer to the challenge by bluepixie to write a poem about fire in less than 8 lines. shrugs I was bored..Urghh...sorry about the double posting...I posted the wrong one originally...stupid me.
