A Different Drummer

By Jonathan Wikkins

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

For I walk to the beat of a different drummer When life gets me down, I take offense to it To love, to life, to happiness! I let life take hold of me, and live it one day at a time! When life gets me down, I take offense to it. I live each day as if it were my last. I let life take hold of me, and live it one day at a time! Do you do the same? I live each day as if it were my last. To love, to life, to happiness! Do you do the same? For I walk to the beat of a different drummer. © Jonathan Wikkins November 30, 2001 Revised March 5, 2008 All Rights Reserved a pantoum Written November 30th, 2001 © on Nov 30 2001 01:22 AM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   spiritual • life • love • personal
