And Now, We Fight

By Jonathan Wikkins

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The Powers of Evil     are out there… The Lord of Darkness     is upon us… What must we do? FIGHT… The Powers of Good     have gained strength           to fight… Not against simple flesh and blood,     that is far too simple… But, against Principalities of Power,     a much worse fight… For those battles     occur within us… The powers of Evil     thought they could win… For they gain strength,     from within those they conquer… Be careful,     what you think… Be careful,     how you feel… For Evil wants,     your very soul… © Jonathan Wikkins January 31, 2002 Revised March 3, 2008 All Rights ReservedWritten January 31st, 2002 © on Jan 31 2002 09:49 AM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   nature
