New Times, New Alliances

By Jonathan Wikkins

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

It is I,     the gentle muse… I have returned… As I have said,     many times… I shall return,     when it is necessary… This time with news,     and a request… Where all this information     comes from escapes me, as usual… There is an alliance,     a new one forming,           an unlikely one, indeed… For there are things     which must be told… For deception     is Evil’s greatest weapon and ally… Awakening is happening     amongst those destined to fight… Some are aware,     yet others are not… Little or no blood     will be shed… The battles shall be     between principalities of power… Some of that power,     will be unseen, unheard, unknown           to the masses… Yet this fight     was not supposed           to happen               within our lifetimes,                     not this one anyway… But someone,     the very being that was given           this gift in the beginning,               changed the timing of prophecy,                     for his own advantage… Those he is to fight,     were not to awaken           during this lifetime,               at all… Their souls were to learn,     from this lifetime,           as in their previous lives,               and awaken during the next,                     prepared to fight… But as usual,     the battle for this world,           will be tough,               as in other worlds… Some have been won,     others were lost… Only time will tell,     whether Good or Evil prevails… As you all know,     there are prophecies           that lead to the end… But what you don’t know,     is Evil has its own prophecies… Prophecies that speak     much differently of the end of time… There are many writings     that lead to prophecy,           some which are hidden               within popular literature… For those to whom     they are directed,           will see the true message,               and meaning behind the words… All those that preach for the good,     no matter what the faith,           have the same goal in mind,               just merely are on different paths… Beware, however,     of those who preach,           yet tell how you should believe… It is what is in your heart,     that should tell you           what is right, for you… All major religions     feel they are           the one way… Yet, all are right,     in that, they are all           on the path towards righteousness… Just merely a different path,     the goal is the same… Some of you     know who you are… Others will merely be     drawn to these words… Yet, awakening will happen     to those towards whom           they are directed. As you read these words,     let them enter your heart… If it is to you,     to whom they are directed… Then you will know what to do… It is I,     the muse, Who one day     shall return…     © Jonathan Wikkins March 17th, 2002       Revised February 24, 2008       All Rights Reserved Written March 17th, 2002 © on Jun 04 2002 08:04 PM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   contemporary • dark • hope • life • personal • spiritual
