One Day Soon

By Jonathan Wikkins

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

It is I,     the gentle muse, I have returned     once again… A new message     has arrived… This time it is one of deception… One day soon… A battle shall begin… Some think it has already,     and in some sense           it has… But not in the intensity     that it will be… Times have changed… The battle is joined… Evil has begun     to win souls… Souls that will fight     on its side… Some of those souls,     don’t even realize           that they have been taken… Their teaching hasn’t allowed them     to see… They won’t even know who     they’re fighting,           or even why,               but fight they will… They’ll deceive you… They’ll lie about you… They won’t believe you… That is how the Evil will fight,     dirty… For that is all it knows,     to fight dirty… It fights within your dreams… It fights within the courts… Some will even be “put away”,     for their visions of reality… Not all who are     “put away” see reality correctly,           but, who knows… Perhaps some of them do,     and the Evil saw them           as a threat,               and put them                     where they will not                         be believed…. It calls them “crazy”… It calls them “insane”… But it could be,     because they don’t want           YOU to believe those               who they see as a viable threat… Would not even Jesus Christ, Himself,     be considered insane today? And think about it,     He was Evil’s greatest enemy,           in His day… And still is… It is I     the muse… I shall return… © Jonathan Wikkins April 11, 2002 Revised February 24, 2008 All Rights ReservedWritten April 11th, 2002 © on Apr 11 2002 03:09 AM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   dark • hope • life • society • spiritual
