Sometimes

By Jonathan Wikkins

Today is finally here,     the day we’ve both waited for so very long. The wait has not been without its pitfalls,     trials, and tribulations… But, it’s finally here… Sometimes I find it difficult to believe,     we’ve made it this far,           and gone through what we have… But we’re here… Our love for each other continues to grow,     as it has all along… For today, the two shall be, no longer. For we shall become one,     one in the eyes of God. We now know that this was truly meant to be. For we would not have made it,     if that were not so… But we did… We were no doubt made for each other,     to love; to cherish one another for life;           to be a significant part of each other’s lives. For that is what we have become;     that is what brings us here… Our love will continue to blossom, and grow, Together, for each other,     as husband and wife… From this day forward… We will promise many things,     that will one day,           come true. That we will love, honor, and cherish each other,     till death do us part… And we will…. © Jonathan Wikkins 2001 Revised February 4, 2008 All Rights Reserved Written December 6th, 2001 © on Dec 06 2001 04:38 AM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   love
