Sunrise and Sunset

By Jonathan Wikkins

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

At sunrise,     the colours we see,           the reds,               the oranges,                     the blues… All the hues,     the beautiful hues,           inspire us,               cause us to grow still,                     make us ready for the day. When they return,     at sunset,           we become at ease,               we grow still again,                     ready… Prepared for the night,     when love enters,           our hearts again,               our souls unite,                     we grow together… © Jonathan Wikkins November 12, 2001 Revised March 5, 2008 All Rights ReservedWritten November 12th, 2001 © on Nov 12 2001 02:38 PM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   love
