The New Threat

By Jonathan Wikkins

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

It is I,     the gentle muse… I have returned     once again,           this time with a message               of hope… The forces of evil are gathering… Good will conquer,     for it is written… It will be a terrible fight… For good has always     conquered evil. Measures have been taken,     time is of the essence… The end is near… Pay head to your heart,     for it knows           what it must do… The one thing evil     does not have,           that will cause its defeat,               is love, for love                     shall always conquer evil… It will not be easy,     but good will be triumphant… There is a new threat,     one that has been written… One the world has never seen… But there are those,     who shall conquer,           in time… Do not allow yourself to be deceived… It will not be easy,     the marks are well hidden,           and organized… Have faith, those forces     that shall defeat,           have the one thing               that their enemies do not… They have the love,     that has passed on down,           throughout the ages… Love of their fellow man,     love of a child,           love of each other… That love, comes only     from the source of all life,           the creator… His name means love… His name means life… His domain,     shall be your soul’s,           if you listen… His forces shall be triumphant… © Jonathan Wikkins December 19th, 2001 Revised February 25, 2008 All Rights ReservedWritten December 19th, 2001 © on Dec 19 2001 08:31 AM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   abuse
