The Quest

Wide open spaces,     mountains, valleys,           memories… Some good,     some not,           some horrible… I must leave this behind,     and start over… What my life will bring, now,     is anyone’s guess… I now begin a quest,     a quest for love,           contentment,               honor,                     joy, and happiness… What might I find along the way? Heartache,     pain,           uncertainty,               and broken dreams… One thing is certain,     that I will find in time… Something I may     have never found before… For I have found love,     honor,           contentment,               joy, and happiness,                     in my life, before… I have also found heartache,     pain,           uncertainty, and broken dreams… I know those things quite well,     in fact… Yet the one thing,     I feel I have lacked           all of my life,               I may have never found… Yet I will,     one day… In time… I will find… Me… © Jonathan Wikkins November 12, 2001 Revised March 6, 2008 All Rights ReservedWritten November 12th, 2001 © on Nov 12 2001 07:27 AM PST, David Michael Shurtleff   hope • life • love • other • pain • personal • sad • thoughts
